Cochin the queen of the Arabian Sea is one of the most interesting cities of India and has one of the finest natural harbors in the world. Places, palaces and institutions of historic value are being preserved conscientiously.

Showcasing quintessentially magnificent vignettes of Kerala’s rich cultural traditions, Kaleidoscope Kerala is essentially an exclusive, uniquely choreographed repertoire of live classical dance and music performed in a heritage theatre with legendary ritualistic folk invocations and martial arts. It is a medley of many authentic dances of Kerala, especially the sheer splendor of a magical rendezvous with the languid, mellifluously lyrical and graceful Mohiniattam, dance of the enchantress – exquisitely devotional for some, sublimely sensual for others; the rigorously codified majestic spectacle of Kathakali, Kerala’s trademark dance drama instantly recognizable for its dazzling regalia and trance-inducing rhythms, the stunningly totemic and surreally oracular manifestation of the divine in the folk tradition of Theyyam, among a breathtaking mélange of inimitable performing art forms accompanied by soul-stirring ensembles of pristine musical genres, dominated by the mesmerizing roll of the ‘demonic’ drum, chenda.”Return to your hotel. I would like to give you some feedback about my recent trip with Explore India, 'Impressions of India', which my wife, Dixie Koenig, and I began on November 14th, ending on the 30th. This travel experience gave me a fascinating insight into India, from exotic places like the Taj Mahal, the Ganges and the game preserve to the daily street scenes in the various places we visited and everything in between. The hotels we stayed in were first class, our tour bus was clean and comfortable and our domestic flights in India were flawlessly arranged for us. The train ride was quite an experience and I'm glad that it was on the agenda. Most of all, I would like to thank your staff, ALL of whom were highly professional and a credit to your company. This includes the young fellow who picked us up at Delhi airport and returned us there at the end of the trip, Rajiv, who met us on our first day and toured us (Dixie, me, Allan Mayer and Wendy Koenig) around Delhi for two days and got our trip off to a wonderful start, our tour bus driver, Malik, his assistant, Anil, and the local guides we encountered along the way. And, of course, Sandeep, our primary tour guide who was with us for nearly two weeks. Sandeep is most knowledgeable about India and its history and provided us with a wealth of information everywhere we went. He is articulate and passionate about his job and I think everyone enjoyed and benefitted from listening to his descriptions and explanations. But, most important of all, he took very good care of us and made sure that our needs were met and that things moved smoothly and according to plan. I had total confidence in his ability to lead our group. Your policy of focusing on small groups is of great benefit to the traveler. Our group of sixteen was most impressive. They were friendly, good humoured, enthusiastic and didn't hesitate to help one another out. I would happily and without reservation recommend Explore India to anyone planning a trip.

Hello Nazir My apologies for the delayed response, but we got home from India and were right back at it with work and Christmas preparations and festivities. I now want to take a moment to thank you and all the people in your organization for making our trip AMAZING. You helped us experience the many sides of India (colours, tastes, sounds, people, cities, countrysides, etc), while also helping us understand its history, culture, politics, environment, evolution and challenges. While I am aware of, and appreciate, all the work put in by your 'behind the scenes' team, I have to say that the one person we spent every day with really helped contribute to making our experience positive and very meaningful. Yazur's knowledge, humor, professionalism and communication skills were much appreciated. He went above and beyond to provide exceptional service to us too - helping individuals (including me) find that special something we were looking for. Thank you Yazur!! I was awestruck by the Taj Mahal and pleasantly surprised by the impact the Amber Fort had on me. Seeing the tigers in both the morning and afternoon trip through Ranthambore's park was also a highlight - and much appreciated. The chaos of the traffic moving through the streets was unexpected and quite entertaining too. Both Harry and I would highly recommend your organization to others considering a trip to India. All the best to you and your team for a happy, healthy and successful 2016!! Cheers

I am writing to thank you so much for setting up a wonderful, magical trip for us to India. I cannot recommend all of your staff more highly. They were very professional and accommodating. We especially liked Yuvrage who is an interesting young man, our driver and our driver's assistant all of whom I thought were exceptional. On the other hand the staff at Le Meridien in New Delhi went above board in helping us when my son was feeling ill. They were very understanding and sympathetic. I would have no hesitation at all in recommending that hotel. Thank you Nazir. I am already telling everybody that they should contact you when they go to India. Until next time.

Yes we are home it was a wonderful holiday Nazir. I think I would have liked longer now that I see what the country is like. The people we met on the tour were lovely and all of the Indian people charming and gracious, so pleased to have us as tourists in their country. Our bus drivers were amazing what a job! and Sandeep did his job with ease and humour, a very knowledgeable young man. Thanks to your team.

Incredible India really lived up to its name! There were many hilites: Our first time riding a camel (and probably the last!) Helen got thrown off part way up but only a bruised bum. A couple rides in a camel cart was interesting and much safer. Seeing a leopard quite close after it had recently killed a cow, and later seeing it in the rocks washing its face (just like a cat). Of course, the Taj Mahal at about 8.30 AM in a good light after the early fog had disappeared. Visits to a craft village and a farm family. The many forts and palaces from the past. Our hotels were very good; we were upgraded a couple times so that they could give us twin beds. Our guide was competent and dealt with the challenges of India quite well. The money problem didn't affect us as we used our 500 rupee notes with vendors. One day I hope to get back to India, perhaps in the northeast with Bhutan, Sikkim and Nepal. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to see this fascinating country.

Thank you very much the card and the phone message. I have actually been travelling almost non-stop since getting back from India, and this is the first opportunity I have had to respond with about my trip to India. First of all, it was the trip of a lifetime and I would definitely recommend it to friends. The Kashmiri leg in particular was a highlight. The people and scenery and ambiance were wonderful. Like everything, there is always some room for improvement, and I offer these thoughts to you as you strive to accommodate the needs and wishes of your future clients.June and I agreed that this trip was about 88% successful, but now that I am back and looking at my pictures and reading my diary, I would peg it closer to 95%. I felt that ExploreIndia had our best interests at heart. I am not a fussy or nervous traveller, but when travelling in such a colourful, chaotic and crowded country, I needed to feel safe and comfortable, and I did. Thank you to Mr Joshi for looking after my misplaced plane tickets and insurance policy. He was a very attentive agent at all times. An item that got left behind in our last hotel was the colour copy of the day-to-day itinerary, with the photos at the top of each page. I would love to have another copy as a souvenir if possible, via physical mail. Thank you so much for making this trip possible for me and also for providing fodder for my ongoing writing career.

The whole tour was superb; everything went very smoothly, the choice of sites was perfect, the hotels were excellent, well-supplied and clean, the bus was comfortable, the driver, Praveen (?) and water wallah, Shambo, were friendly, competent and very amenable. Our guide was wonderful at keeping all 22 of us happy, thanks to his ability to listen, adapt, add and subtract as necessary. Speaking of Rajeev, a 5+ star guide! What a calm, patient, well-informed, flexible, attentive person to travel with! He gave us time to explore when desired, tweaked things where necessary and rolled with the punches that a bunch of bossy adults used to having their own way could throw him. He made us feel safe and special throughout the trip, whether we were crossing a road, feeding cows, riding an elephant or negotiating prices, all this with an unfailing sense of humour. There was not one glitch in our bus arrival, suitcase sorting, passport collection and distribution or room allocation. All in all, a magical voyage which is very much in my mind, my conversations and my dreams.

Namaste! What can I say, what's Hindi for fabulous? Thank you so much for Planning such a wonderful tour for us, we thoroughly enjoyed it. India is a country of many layers and we loved them all. I must say that the highlight for me was the Taj Mahal...I actually cried when I saw it, it is so beautiful, no picture could ever do it justice. Everywhere we went was interesting in it's own right, but that was amazing. Accommodation: Great Food: Delicious Itinerary: Perfect The only thing that needs more words is the wonderful staff. Rajeev Sharma managed every little detail and checked to make sure that everything was going well. Mahee was like a happy mother hen that watched over us and gave us so much information I thought my brain would explode...I learned so much about the Indian culture that I could never have learned in a book. Rama our driver has to be the best driver in India, he could maneuver that bus around anything. Surinder (not sure of the spelling) his assistant was always there giving us snacks and water and guiding the bus. I have never seen such competent staff on a vacation. We were also most fortunate to have a wonderful group of fellow travelers and we all plan to get together next month. I would not hesitate to recommend Explore India to any of my friends.

Hi Nazir, Just a note on behalf of my wife and I regarding our recent trip to India. First we would like to commend you on running a very good operation in India even though you are based in Canada. Our India experience started out by being greeted by a very professional gentleman who picked us up at the airport. He made us feel very welcome at 1:00 in the morning while having to wait for over 2 hrs for us to get out of the Airport. Later in the morning at the hotel we were greeted by Rajeev who helped make our first day in Delhi very enjoyable by making various arrangements that were not part of the itinerary. Our overall India experience exceeded our expectations mostly because of the people you have on the ground in India. We always felt that we were getting the best treatment from everyone in your organization. We want to commend the people who spent many hours with us because they deserve a big thank you and a pat on the back. We appreciate the enthusiasm of our tour guide Harry who made our India experience unforgettable. He went beyond what we expect of a travel guide and as a result we all benefited tremendously from his knowledge of India as well as his interest in wanting us to have the best travel experience, and not just see India from the bus. This was tremendously appreciated by Leslie and I. We have already been sharing our unique daily “Harry” experiences with family and friends back in Canada. He is truly a GEM. I still do not know how he can look so good every day and have a different coordinated outfit that fits with the theme of the day, or event. Operations Manager, Rajeev seemed to genuinely care about making sure that we were enjoying our time in India and he handled the currency issue willingly to make sure that we had some local currency in spite of the challenges. He showed up often and kept in touch frequently with our group as we travelled through India. He genuinely cared that we were enjoying our time in India. I personally appreciate how he coordinated the tailor from CCCI to meet with me to do a fitting and final delivery at the hotels. This was above and beyond what was expected. Lastly we would like to thank our bus driver Mr. Rakesh and his assistant. These guys truly know how to manoeuver a vehicle with great proficiency. They were also always smiling after long days. Thank you to all of your other staff who had a hand in making our India experience truly memorable. We will be sure to refer Explore India as we tell our stories to our friends and family. P.S The hotels, transportation and arranged meals were all very good as well. Keep well and all the best.

Just returned home and trying to get over the jet-lag. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip – would hardly recommend your tour company. (first time with your company). The itinerary was well planned, transportation and accommodations were excellent and so was our tour guide. Had planned on staying in China for an additional 10 days but did not realize it was a Chinese holiday and we were not able to book any additional trips. Had I known this, I probably would have booked an additional tour with your company.
