A Journey of the Senses and it was! I don't believe I could have found a better way to see this part of India, thanks to Explore India. It was an absolute adventure and I didn't want to miss a thing! The tour was very well organized, safe and educational. Tour guide Ashiesch Korana was excellent as was our guide in Nepal - Sanjay Nepal. I learned so much from these 2 special people. The hotel accommodation was excellent as was the bus transportation. All in all this trip was an experience of a lifetime for me and many thanks to you Nazir and explore India for enabling me to visit India and Nepal - 2 countries on my bucket list. Sincerely, Barb Schimpl

I never use travel agents, taking great pride in thinking I do a better job and I certainly hate group tours. However, when I decided to take my daughter to India, I felt that perhaps, just this time, it might be wise to seek professional help. I researched several tour companies and was about to book a bus tour accomodating up to 30 passengers, when I noticed Nazir's ad in the Vancovuer Sun. I telephoned and instantly took to this delightful man. His no pressure approach was certainly appreciated and I quickly realized he was an expert on India. To my delight, I also discovered his private tour for just my daughter and I, in a private car, in 5 star hotels vs the student type accomodations offered by GAP tours, was just a few hundred $ more than their huge group tour. We then began our planning which would drive most agents mad, with me hopping all over Rajastan now that I could pick my own itinery. After numerous changes, we were finally on our way. Nazir arranged the very best seat in economy on British Airways. The hotels were fabulous, the drivers and tour guides represented all of the various cultural groups of India. We were impressed to see Sikhs, Muslims, and Hindus all working harmoniously together. They could teach the world a lesson. I must admit, I am a high maintainence client and had several demands, all of which Nazir completed graciously and efficiently. He phoned us along the way to ensure all was well and no demand was too much for him. I would and have, recommended Nazir to everyone and anyone. It was a trip of a lifetime and Nazir made it so.

I was just editing our Indian photos and thought I should write you a few words of thanks for a great trip. I can't start to imagine the amount of time and effort that went into organizing and creating such a successful and wonderful experience, and I know you played a major part in that. Your negotiations with the Indian government, prior to our trip, to simplify the visa process and your many flights ahead of us, during the trip , to make sure things flowed smoothly were recognized and much appreciated. The India trip was the longest and most expensive trip we have taken and we knew it would be special. Everything, from the accommodations, food and experiences exceeded our expectations. Many of us commented during the trip "it just keeps getting better". This was not just intended to be a sightseeing trip but a trip to experience India, and we experienced things that most people visiting India would never experience. The three days in Kashmir was a lovely way to end the trip. It is a beautiful part of the country and quite different from the rest of India. In spite of it's proximity to Pakistan, heavy security and strong military presence, people seemed happy, relaxed, peaceful and very friendly. We felt very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Thanks again Nazir for helping make this a trip of a lifetime. Looking forward to seeing you again on future trips.

Yes we are home it was a wonderful holiday Nazir. I think I would have liked longer now that I see what the country is like. The people we met on the tour were lovely and all of the Indian people charming and gracious, so pleased to have us as tourists in their country. Our bus drivers were amazing what a job! and Sandeep did his job with ease and humour, a very knowledgeable young man. Thanks to your team.

I would like to give you some feedback about my recent trip with Explore India, 'Impressions of India', which my wife, Dixie Koenig, and I began on November 14th, ending on the 30th. This travel experience gave me a fascinating insight into India, from exotic places like the Taj Mahal, the Ganges and the game preserve to the daily street scenes in the various places we visited and everything in between. The hotels we stayed in were first class, our tour bus was clean and comfortable and our domestic flights in India were flawlessly arranged for us. The train ride was quite an experience and I'm glad that it was on the agenda. Most of all, I would like to thank your staff, ALL of whom were highly professional and a credit to your company. This includes the young fellow who picked us up at Delhi airport and returned us there at the end of the trip, Rajiv, who met us on our first day and toured us (Dixie, me, Allan Mayer and Wendy Koenig) around Delhi for two days and got our trip off to a wonderful start, our tour bus driver, Malik, his assistant, Anil, and the local guides we encountered along the way. And, of course, Sandeep, our primary tour guide who was with us for nearly two weeks. Sandeep is most knowledgeable about India and its history and provided us with a wealth of information everywhere we went. He is articulate and passionate about his job and I think everyone enjoyed and benefitted from listening to his descriptions and explanations. But, most important of all, he took very good care of us and made sure that our needs were met and that things moved smoothly and according to plan. I had total confidence in his ability to lead our group. Your policy of focusing on small groups is of great benefit to the traveler. Our group of sixteen was most impressive. They were friendly, good humoured, enthusiastic and didn't hesitate to help one another out. I would happily and without reservation recommend Explore India to anyone planning a trip.

Namaste Nazir Thank you once again for your welcome home. I now have had enough time to process and to put into words how grateful we are to you and your numerous guides, reps, drivers, etc that made this a once in a lifetime experience. I can't imagine the logistics that go into dealing with four individuals' wants and coming up with a cohesive plan that includes ticketing for five domestic flights, three train trips, as well as traveling by van, car, jeep, tuk-tuk, rickshaw, camel, and elephant!! All stress free because we were always greeted and escorted by your army of personable professionals. And then there was our accommodation....palaces, a luxury tent, a Maharajah's hunting lodge, etc....pretty special. We have all travelled extensively and we are in agreement that India tops the list for all of us. I truly feel that Explore India can take some of the credit for making this such a magical adventure. It also makes us feel quite special to get a personal welcome home greeting from the President of Operations! Sincerely,

In November 2012 we took a four week tour to India which was organized by Nazir Karnai Explore India It was indeed the best tour we have ever had. The whole tour starting from arrival at Delhi airport felt like we were in safe hands. Our driver, car, accommodation in different cities and tour guides were all arranged with detail and consideration of our safety and comfort. Every moment was worth while and no time wasted or surprises on extra expenses. We received royal treatment everywhere we went. Our special thanks to Nazir and his staff in Delhi who were available to answer any questions or concerns. We truly recommend Explore India in Vancouver for their excellent service and hospitality. Thank you Nazir and Staff

Hi Nazir, This was the best vacation we could ever have hoped for. It was fabulous. The group was the best, we have made a lot of new friends. The service and the hotels were wonderful. Shah was the best tour guide we could have hoped for. This is the first escorted tour we have done but it exceeded all of our expectations. We have actually discussed with our group about booking another trip in 2020 with Shah as our guide to visit Bhutan, Nepal and Kashmir. We would like to discuss this sometime next year perhaps. Thank you for everything, we really appreciated the wonderful itinerary, the great hotels and wonderful food. We will be telling all of our friends about Explore India and what a great family company you have that makes us feel like part of the family. It was great to meet your brother as well. Thanks again for the trip of a lifetime !!!! Warmest regards, Evelyn and Roger Randhawa

To Nazir, Mandira and all those who made our Indian trip so memorable, there is so much praise I would like to heap upon you all for giving us such a memorable trip to India, but having read Charles Beales' email to you I couldn't put it more eloquently than he has done, and Michael and I endorse every word he said. It was simply fabulous. We have memories and experiences which will last a lifetime. How we fitted so much into such a short time span I will never know, but it was all due to our amazing guide Harry, and at no time did I feel pressured or unable to cope. Harry is the most wonderful human being it has been my privilege to meet in many years, and your company is so lucky to have such a gem in its employ. Downtime, mealtimes, sightseeing and travelling, everything was so smooth and effortless, right down to the last detail, which was finding out that a sandwich and a snack had been ordered and prepaid on our final flight from Toronto to Vancouver. We were totally exhausted by then, and that last touch was perfection!! I will certainly endorse your company, and you must use my name if you have older travellers who might be nervous at such an undertaking. Two weeks before we left I thought I was going to have to do the trip in a wheelchair, but I managed as well as the group, if a fraction slower, and Harry organized things so that I was never aware of slowing anyone down. Everyone was so very helpful. I would definitely recommend that people who have problems walking, perhaps with age or arthritis take advantage of the wheelchair services offered by the airlines, though, even if not strictly necessary. It means no long waits standing in queues for customs, tickets or bags, and eliminates potential walks of a kilometer or more to get to a gate. It was a godsend for me. God bless you all, and I think you will see us again on a cruise perhaps. Regards,

Hi Nazir, Sorry for the delay in responding...what with getting back on PST and dealing with Christmas it has been pretty hectic. We very much enjoyed the trip. It was not always easy but it was an adventure and a great education. India is really an amazing country! I have been trying to come up with some suggestions for your trip but I don't really have any. I thought the trip was well organized and went pretty smoothly considering all the ground we covered and the challenges of travelling in India. And of course the currency crisis added to the difficulties. I would definitely recommend the trip to anyone who wants to see India. If I have any further thoughts I will let you know. Regards

No company is big or small when you have 100% capability of exceeding guest expectations. A rating of 10 out of 10 does not adequately reflect the level of the experience and value of the tour that we provide to India especially for the first time visitors. Explore India’s success can be traced all the way back to those early days of learning what it means to be a host and to this day, our motto is to treat the guest like a member of the family. A sure testimonial to the business, given the fact that many Canadians have travelled not one, not twice, but three times with Explore India, the early teachings seem to have paid off, as touring to India with us is a sought-after experience in Canada and beyond.
